Their shapes, angles, and reflections gave me a strong structure to work from, while still allowing the drawing to stay loose and responsive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1174\"\u003eThe light was still soft from the overcast sky, which flattened the contrast slightly and helped the colours sit together more gently across the water.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1176\" data-end=\"1374\"\u003eI spent about another hour here, working into the drawing and gradually building up the marks.
