Behind my cottage is a wonderful wood where Marple and I run every morning. It's a magical place where I allow my imagination to roam free and I often return from my run and quickly make a sketch from memory. This little etching is a result of one of those little sketches.I hope you like it
It is a zinc plate etching measuring 6.5cm x 5.5cm

Each print is hand - pulled on my Gunning press and printed on Hahnemuhle 300g natural paper.

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
