I love caravans and camper vans, you only need to look in my shop to see how many feature in my work. This year whilst travelling around the UK in Sylvie the camper van, I kept seeing these little cute caravans everywhere. I did some research and discovered they are ‘Barefoot caravans’, made in UK and very popular - Jane, one of my instagram followers has one and told me more about them. I started work on an etching, and the company itself was so friendly and supportive that I knew I had to make the etching work! I think I've done that and here it is. I hope you like it.
Each print is hand - pulled on my Gunning press and printed on Hahnemuhle 300g natural paper.
It is a zinc plate etching measuring 6.5 x 9.5 cm and an edition of 65, signed and numbered in pencil on front.

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
