I've been fascinated by blue footed boobies ever since I saw a programme about them as a child. They have featured many times in my work before, but I've never done a large linocut of one until now. It was a throughly enjoyable print to put together - I hope you like him!
It's a 4 block linocut so lots of carving and challenging registering to make sure all the blocks line up ( see photo 4)
Please note, colours may vary slightly from screens to paper
All prints are unique and each contain minor variations.
Print will be sent in a postal tube as this is the safest option for a print of this size.

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
