During my last trip to Antibes, I stayed in a lovely little apartment just above the well known restaurant Chez Jules. The restaurant spans 3 locations forming a criss cross in the street, so the tables spill out from every angle. The tables are always so beautifully decorated and change from lunch to dinner. I did this drawing just as they were laying the tables out for dinner. It was always so busy and bustling and I loved being right in the heart of such a busy environment!

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
