Chinchilla
Chinchilla
As a child I always wanted a chinchilla. For me they were the cutest animals ever. Sadly in Lincolnshire in the 1970's they were in short supply so my parents bought me a hamster. I still love chinchillas even now in my 40's - maybe one day I will get one, but in the meantime this etching will suffice!
It is a zinc plate etching and aquatint measuring 10x13cm. Each print is hand - pulled on my Gunning etching press and printed on Hahnemuhle 300g natural paper with a border.
It is an edition of 45, signed and numbered in pencil on front

Sam Marshall
My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
