In-person at my studio - 10.30 - 4.30pm
Discover the beautiful, expressive world of intaglio printmaking in this one-day etching workshop. You’ll learn how to prepare and draw onto zinc plates, etch them using non-toxic etching salts, and print your design using my etching press.
We’ll also explore aquatint techniques to add tone and depth to your image, with plenty of time to experiment and print your own small edition.
This workshop is suitable for beginners or those looking to refresh their skills.
All materials provided – just bring your curiosity (and maybe an apron).

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
