Farley's House Garden,
Farley's House Garden,
Farleys House was the home of the photographer Lee Miller and her husband , the artist Roland Penrose. Lee Miller and Roland Penrose came to live at Farleys House in 1949 and for the thirty five years that followed they built up a collection of contemporary art treasures, many of which were created by their friends and visitors including Pablo Picasso, Man Ray, Max Ernst, Leonora Carrington and Joan Miro. I spent a wonderful day there this summer - the tour of the house was fascinating and I loved drawing in the garden which features so many interesting sculptures. This is a drawing of a sculpture by Guy Stevens who was a guest artist showing his work this year.

Sam Marshall
My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
