Whilst I was in Hay-on-Wye, I popped into a shop called 'Farmers' where they sell lavender products produced on a farm, high up in the Brecon Beacons. Sarah, the lady working there, told me that you can visit the farm and that they have an outside pond where you can swim. I was sold - it was a hot spell in the UK so the next day Marple and I spent a wonderful day there , swimming in the pond, drawing on the farm , purchasing their fabulous products and eating cake in their lovely little cafe.

My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
