2025 : Giardino di Boboli, Florence

Second day in Florence and I headed to the Boboli Gardens. It was properly hot by then, and I only managed to explore a small section before the sun got the better of me. I'd been bitten by a mosquito and my eye had swollen up so much I could barely see straight - not ideal for drawing. Still, I found a patch of shade (along with quite a few others doing the same) and sketched this view near the entrance. I liked the symmetry and structure of it -  those neat hedges and paths gave me something to hold onto while the rest of me felt a bit melty !

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
