2025 : San Marco Cloister I, Florence

San Marco  is one of my favourite places in Florence. The former monastery, now the Museo di San Marco, is known for its peaceful cloisters and the stunning frescoes by Fra Angelico tucked away in the monks’ cells. It’s also a brilliant place to draw - cool, quiet, and full of beautiful shapes and shadows. This was the first of two drawings I made there. I could’ve happily stayed all day, but it closes at 2pm, which felt far too early.

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
