Hawkshead

The small village of Hawkshead is often described as one of the prettiest in the Lake District, and it really did live up to its reputation. When we arrived, the sun was blazing and most of the village was bathed in heat and light. I wandered around looking for a quiet spot to draw, but shady corners were few and far between. Eventually, we stumbled across this tucked-away alley, where I found just enough shade to perch on my stool. Marple, of course, was delighted to stretch out in the full sun. It was one of those simple, happy moments that made the whole day feel worthwhile.

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
