If you’re a book lover like me, Hay-on-Wye is an absolute must-visit. I’ve been many times and love wandering the town, popping into bookshops, and hunting for hidden gems. This visit was extra special - I found my LINOCUT book in both the Castle bookshop and Richard Booth’s. I was completely overwhelmed and overjoyed.
To recover from all the excitement, Marple and I settled down in the town centre. I spent a lovely couple of hours drawing, creating this characterful and picturesque drawing while she snoozed beside me.
Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.

Sam Marshall
My name is Sam, I'm a printmaker working from my studio in rural Northamptonshire. I've recently left London after 22 years and am now enjoying the fresh air, open skies and wildlife of my new life in the country. Miss Marple my ever faithful mini dachshund loves it too!
When I'm not making work/ running workshops / coaching from my studio then I'm travelling around the UK and Europe with my sketchbook.
