Take your linocut skills further with this two-day workshop focused on multi-block printing. You’ll learn how to plan, carve, and register multiple blocks to create layered, colourful prints with depth and complexity.
We’ll explore the two different approaches to multi-block linocut that I explain in my book: one using a key block with colour added through separate blocks, and the other where multiple colour blocks are used to build up the entire image. You’ll print using a hand lever press and my etching press, and experiment with different types of paper to see how each one impacts the final print.
This workshop is ideal for those with some previous linocut experience, or anyone who’s taken my Learn Linocut course and wants to go further.
