Outside wordsworths cottage

On our visit to Grasmere, Marple and I stopped by the garden of Wordsworth’s house. Dogs weren’t allowed indoors, but the garden was open and welcoming. It was a blazing hot afternoon, and we both needed some shade. I found a quiet corner and sat down to draw, surrounded by enormous leaves, nodding daisies and all kinds of flowers spilling over the paths. Marple flopped down in the cool grass while I tried to capture the lushness of it all. It felt like the kind of garden where poems could grow.

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
