Lake Windermere - Fell Foot, National Trust

We stumbled across this spot on the edge of Lake Coniston late one afternoon. The light was beautiful - that golden, slanting sort that makes everything feel a little magical. There were people swimming, paddleboarding, lounging in camping chairs with flasks of tea. It felt very British, very peaceful. I found a place under the trees where I could see the activity across the water and got my sketchbook out. Marple, of course, made herself comfortable and had a little snooze in the grass behind me. I loved the way the bright blocks of colour from the camping chairs stood out against the soft, green woodland in the distance.

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
