2025 : Pienza view

Day four of my drawing and printing week in Città della Pieve. We took a day trip to Pienza, about an hour’s drive away, and spent the afternoon drawing from the wall that wraps around the town. The view out over the Tuscan landscape was incredible - soft hills, scattered trees and fields in every direction. I tried to capture the layers and shifting colours with loose marks, just letting the drawing unfold. Everyone was completely absorbed. It was one of those afternoons that felt both peaceful and full of energy.

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
