2025: Hotel Vannucci, Città della Pieve

Day one of my drawing and printing week in Città della Pieve. We started off gently, sketching in the gardens of Hotel Vannucci - the beautiful boutique hotel where the students were staying. It’s right in the centre of town, close to everything but with a peaceful feel, thanks to its leafy grounds and shaded paths. It was the perfect place to ease into the week. Everyone could find a quiet spot and settle into the rhythm of drawing without needing to venture out straight away. I did this sketch while they worked - just enjoying the shapes of the building, the shutters, and the tangle of trees and pots

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
