St Mary's Church, Stamford

I grew up in Lincolnshire and couldn’t wait to leave - I set my sights on London and didn’t look back for 22 years. But even then, I always said if I were to move back, it would be near Stamford. And now here I am, not far from this beautiful town that I’ve completely fallen for. It’s full of winding streets, limestone buildings, and church spires. This one is St Mary’s, one of five churches in Stamford. I drew this from across the park on a bright, blustery day, trying to capture that layered jumble of rooftops I find so comforting.

Each print is the same size as the original sketchbook page. You can choose whether to include the sketchbook seam or not when ordering. Larger prints (25 x 21 cm) are £35, and smaller ones (23 x 12 cm or 17 x 14 cm) are £30. All prints are made on archival-quality Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
