I didn't make it to Nara on my first visit to Japan, so this time it was on my list. I took a day trip there from Osaka and had the most wonderful time. This is a drawing of Todaiji, the main temple. It was so busy when I visited, however, I managed to find a quiet spot tucked away in the corner to do this drawing. I was working for over an hour when I looked up behind me to see I had a audience of people watching me draw!
